Sound Collin’s Barrow Midget AE boy’s hockey team extended the Georgian Bay
League Playoffs Championship Series with a 3-3 tie in Dundalk.
Tyler Scott opened the scoring in the first period
but Dundalk would score three goals to cement what appeared to be the win and the
championship. Words can’t describe the intensity of the game as Mitch Wiley
scored to get to within one with 2:46 left in the 3rd. With 1:26 left to go Caleb Andrews scored the tying
goal. Knotted at 3 goals apiece the teams battled through a physical third
period with heavy hits and many blocked shots. Kegan Bradley played extremely well
and steady in net including stopping a penalty shot in OT!
