The Owen Sound Garb &
Gear Jr Attack had a busy weekend as they faced Burlington, Dundas and Stoney
Creek and skated away with 4 of a possible 6 points.
Friday November 26th
Fridays nights action saw the 1st place Burlington Eagles and the Owen Sound Garb & Gear Jr Attack face off at the Owen Sound Rec center. End to end action resulted in a 4-0 win for the Eagles. Noah Lundgren stood tall in net with the entire team putting forth a tremendous game despite the result.
Saturday November 26th
The Owen Sound Garb & Gear Jr Attack boarded there bus and headed down the highway 6 to meet up with the Dundas Blues for a Saturday evening game. After a long bus ride the kids came out to play and skated away with 2 points in a 4-2 win over the blues. Kai Bryia was upto the task as he made many key saves in the victory.
First Period - Ronan Helder opened the scoring with a pass from Cohen Garvie
Second Period - Bryce Martin found the back of net with a pass from Markus Ptok & Ronan Helder, then off the face off Olivia Hall added the 3rd goal.
Third Period - Bryce Martin with a pass from Markus Ptok to add the fourth marker.
Sunday November 27th
The Owen Sound Garb & Gear Jr Attack were up early on Sunday after their Dundas road trip to face off against the Stoney Creek Warriors at the Owen Sound Rec Center for a 1:30 pm game. This game was the 3rd game in 3 days for the kids as they faced the rival warriors and they skated away with the 2 points in a 3-1 win. Noah Lundgren was very busy and turned away many shots in the victory.
Second Period - Cohen Garvie opened the scoring with a feed from Kaleb Slater, and then with 51 seconds left in the 2nd period Kashias Keeshig added the 2nd marker with a pass from Olivia Hall.
Third Period - Markus Ptok found the back of the net to add the 3rd marker with a pass from Cody Cox.
The next action for the Owen Sound Garb & Gear Jr Attack will take place at the Owen Sound Rec Center on Friday December 2nd as they lace up there skates against the Oakville Rangers. Puck Drops @ 7:30 pm
