Minor Peewee's Advance to Tri-County Championship
The Garb and Gear Minor Peewee's took their 8 game winning streak into the Rec Centre on Friday in a playoff match up with the Caledon Hawks. The Attack had a slow start going down 1 to 0 early but that's as good as it would get for the Hawks. Our Minor Peewee's poured on the offence, skating to a 9-3 victory and a birth to the Tri-County Championship Series. The team travels to Halton Hills tomorrow for a game that means nothing in the playoff standings but would round out a clean sweep of the first round.
Aidan Yarde led the offence with 3 goals followed by a pair from Kieran Moore and singles from Jaydn Remenda, Liam Barrett, Tyler Moore and Caleb Morrison.
