Great Start to Season in Richmond Hill
The Minor Bantams played better hockey every game this weekend that ended in a 3-2 semi final loss to the Orillia Terriers, a strong OMHA team. They opened with a slow start against a prepared Kingston team with a 5-0 loss, the team bounced back with a strong 0-0 tie in the 2nd game versus the host Richmond Hill Stars ,Talon Johnsen recorded the shutout. They followed up with great effort against Erindale Spitfires of the GTHL with a 5-2 win with Craig Mckague and Joshua Hamill scoring 2 goals each and Ryan McNeill adding one . This win moved the Junior Attack into 2nd place and a berth in the semi final . While leading 2-1 in the third period the strong Orillia team skated to a 3-2 victory. Scoring in the final game were Caleb Milory and Jarrett Vandolder. Great effort boys!
