Minor Peewee's Defeat Caledon Hawks
The Owen Sound Garb & Gear Source for Sports Minor Peewee's faced off in Caledon on Friday evening.
Andrew Suchomel opened the scoring late in the first period assisted by Mitch Kaufman. 20 seconds later Sam Shakes beat the Hawks tender top shelf to put the Attack up 2-0. 12 seconds later Jacob Condy banged in the 3rd goal for the Jr Attack assisted by Sam Shakes.
Caledon opened the scoring in the second period making the score 3-1.
With 4 minutes left in the second Gavin Downs tapped one in assisted by Travis Morrison.
The Hawks scored their final marker of the game to end the second period.
Mitch Kaufman crossed the blue line with a long shot on net, and Suchomel grabbed the rebound and netted his second of the game.
Final score 5-2 Jr Attack.
Kaelem Ryan picked up the win in net for Owen Sound.
