Results from the weekend starting Friday November 2nd.
The Kunkel Bus Lines Bantam AE’s were shutout on Friday night in Dundalk losing five to nothing. Brendan Lumley played a solid game in net.
Saturday night the team visited Midland for the third head to head matchup of the season and left the city with a single point with 1 to 1 draw after 40 minutes of play. The single goal was scored by George Kearny assisted by Jake Richardson. Seth Gauthier stopped 24 of 25 Midland shots.
Essa Rebels visited our fine city on Sunday but were sent
home limping losing 8 to 2. Goals came
from all lines as follows; Dustin Lantz scored assisted by Tayan MacMillan and
Chris Bumstead, Liam McManaman scored with no assists however Tayan MacMillan
made an unselfish pass that Liam was able to convert into a goal, Devin Caron
scored assisted by Liam McManaman and Brayden Marks, Jake Richardson scored
assisted by Alex MacNeil and George Kearney, Jake Richardson scored assisted by
Brayden White and Liam McManaman, Alex MacNeil scored assisted by Jake
Richardson and George Kearney, Dustin Lantz scored assisted by Kwyn Acton and
Brayden Marks, and Andrew Spitzig rounded off the scoring assisted by Bryden
Thalen and Oakley Patterson. Only 2
minutes in penalties were taken by the team resulting in the coaches being able
to roll all lines keeping a great flow to the game with all players involved while
generating over 50 shots on goal.
Brendan Lumley was strong in net for the win.
The team rounded off the weekend in Flesherton losing 6 to
1. The team’s lone goal came late in the
game when Alex MacNeil tipped a point shot from Chris Bumstead past the goalie.
