Minor Midgets Down in OMHA Semi Finals
The Minor Midgets experienced their first losses on the opponent's ice since starting the post season.
On Friday night, the Grey Motors Mazda Minor Midgets fell to the Welland Tigers 8-1. Ben Watson had the goal for Owen Sound. Unfortunately, on Saturday afternoon, the Minor Midgets could not get the puck passed the Welland goalie and a second loss resulted. The score of Saturday's game was 6-0 in favour of Welland. The Grey Motors Mazda Minor Midgets are down 2 games in this best of 5 series.
The Minor Midgets will strategize and rally together this week in practices and look forward to showing Welland their hometown hospitality during next weekend's home and home games at the Bayshore starting Friday night at 8:15 pm.
