Minor Midgets Move On
The Grey Motors Mazda Minor Midgets win their OMHA quarter finals against Caledon.
The energy for the quarter final series began when one of the assistant coaches came into Game One with a new haircut and colour--the coach was sporting the Attack colours in his hair along with every player's number. The Caledon team had home ice advantage for the series; however, that did not matter as the Minor Midgets have a perfect on-the-road record since the beginning of the OMHA playdowns. The series was well played by all resulting in a 3 to 1 game series win for the Grey Motor Mazda team.
Having won the quarter final series, the Minor Midgets move on to the OMHA semi finals. They will face off against the Welland Tigers in a best of 5 series. Games 1 and 2 of the semi final series are being played March 2nd and 3rd in Welland with Games 3 and 4 scheduled in Owen Sound at the Bayshore on March 9th and 10th.
