A second straight overtime victory has the
Owen Sound Jr. Attack Crescent Club Major Midgets in control of their OMHA semi-final series.
Skylar Leblanc scored the overtime winner and Brandon Eagles had one goal and two assists to lift the Crescents to a 3-2 home win over the Amherstburg Stars on Saturday afternoon at the Bayshore Community Centre.
John Morris, who scored twice in Game 1, had a goal and an assist for Owen Sound, who now leads the best-of-five series 2-0. The Crescents also took Game 1 in overtime on Friday night by a score of 4-3.
Dylan Carder also chipped in with an assist for Owen Sound, while netminder Jerred Kiss earned the win.
Frank Desjardins netted both markers for Amherstburg, with assists provided by Eric Shaw (2), Dan Bondy and Mike Popel.
