"Dozer" Plows Elmvale
Shawn "Dozer" Keuken was named first star of the game after leading the Owen Sound Hyundai AE PeeWee Attack to a 3-2 win over the Elmvale Coyotes. "Dozer" scored two goals and played his usual physical game making several "big" hits throughout the game.
Our Junior Attack started off slowly in the first period and gave up the first goal on the first shift of the game. Owen Sound finally got a goal past the Coyotes goalie mid-way through the second period with an excellent pass to the point from Scooter Dodd that was followed up with a wicked wrist shot from Keegan Bradley that clanked off the cross bar and in. "Dozer" Keuken scored his first goal of the game on a set up from Luc Chiasson and Tayan MacMillan. Shawn scored what turned out to be the game winner midway through the third on a setup by Scooter Dodd.
