Major Peewee's End Season with a Big Win
Our Goaltending was solid. Our Blueline stood tall. Our Forwards skated hard, crashed the net, scored 9 goals in 3 games and overall we saved our best performances for the end of season this past weekend, while playing in the East Gwillimbury Spring Fling Hockey Tournament. Penalties proved costly for the boys in games 1 and 2 as they lost both games on Friday by scores of 3-2, as the opponent from East Gwillimbury and Erie North Shore scored 5 of the 6 goals while on the power play and that was the difference in both games.

Tyson Wilkins scored both markers for the Owen Sound squad in game 1, with assists going to JordanLawrence, Alex MacNeil, and Andrew Lavergne. MVP honors went to Tyson Wilkins.

Game 2 saw Ryan Winter make some big saves early in the game to keep his team close, but penalties proved costly in the end
Logan McComb and Alex MacNeil scored. JordanLawrence, Tyson Wilkins and Tanner Prior collecting 2. MVP honors went to Tanner Prior.

Game 3 - Although the boys played well in games 1 and 2, Game 3 could have been the best performance of the season from these boys. After jumping out to a 2-0 early lead the East Nippising Vipers took control for a portion of the 2nd period. Reese Pettigrew played a solid game and stood tall in net making 2 or 3 big saves to keep his team ahead when the Vipers came on strong. The Vipers did score making it 2-1, however the Attack did just that and Attacked and the boys never looked back and went on to win the game 5-2.
Brady Brown had a strong game scoring twice and assiting on another. Kurt Long had a goal and an assist, Tyson Wilkins, and Logan McComb rounded out the scoring. Matt Lyall had 2 assists, with Tanner Prior and Noah Rouse each adding 1 helper. MVP honors went to Reese Pettigrew and Brady Brown.

A job well done this past weekend Boys. Thank you all for your hard work and overall solid team effort.
