Atoms lost Jan 14 to Collingwood
Leeder & Associates Major Atoms lost their first game of the playoffs to the number one team in our league, Collingwood Blackhawks.
At the end of the first Collingwood lead 1 nothing, and 2 nothing the end of the second. Early in the third Kurt Low scored for Owen Sound a beauty goal assisted by Jonathan Vokes and Dominic Millman. It was now a 2 to 1 game, and Collingwood was looking scared. It was a battle from one end of the ice back to the other end, the team was working hard but was growing tired. With a little more than 5 minutes left in the game Collingwood scored another, then 2 more to end the game 6 to 1. The score was not a true reflection of the game; great job boys what a ways we have come from playing them our first game of the season. Better luck tomorrow.
