It kept getting better
The Peewee AE squad improved with each game they played at the Meaford Kinsman Hockey Tournament on Nov 13 & 14th. After being shut out in the first game and losing the second, the team showed their desire to improve by finishing strong with a 5-2 win in the final game.

The team drew a tough opponent in the first round facing the powerful Mildmay Monarchs in game 1. Owen Sound came up short, falling 5-0 against the team that went on to finish second overall in the tournament. In the second game of the day, Owen Sound couldn't manage to pull out a win against the club from Tara, Chatsworth and Desboro. With a score of 4-6, the team kept it close but couldn't ever pull ahead. Nick Kazarian led the team with two goals while AJ Kosempel and Trent Duncan added single markers.
The team must have reflected on these losses because they came out strong against Lambton Shores on Sunday afternoon. The Peewees led from the very start and held out for a 5-2 win. Alex MacNeil, Brad Bishop, Nick Kazarian, Kwyn Acton and Trent Duncan all added goals in a well rounded effort. Alex Grover was nominated as game MVP by the other team.
It was nice to cap of the weekend with a win and walk away with some hardware to boot.
Way to end on a winning note boys!
