Final game of the OMHA Playoffs results in Best Effort Yet
The Owen Sound BDO Dunwoody Minor Atom Jr. Attack played their best game of the season so far, defeating the Brampton Jr. Battalion 6 - 3 .  It just happened to be the last game of the OMHA play downs.  Although the team will not advance they were driven to win from the beginning of the game right to the end, which was very exciting and impressive to watch.

Owen Sound started off the game working very hard and found themselves down by a goal with only 26 seconds left in the first period.  That goal made Owen Sound work even harder as they responded 22 seconds later with a goal by Jerrid Fossold, assisted by Carter McIlmoyle.  Brampton regained the lead half way through the second period and O/S battled back to tie the game as Jerrid Fossold netted his second goal unassisted.  With only 24 seconds left in the second period Owen Sound took the lead with a goal by Dominic Millman, assisted by Jacob Lumley and Luke Grimoldby.  The third period started and Brampton quickly tied the game but that was all they could produce.  Mid way through the third Owen Sound’s Jacob Lumley recorded the game winner, assisted by Drew VanKooten .  A few minutes later Ethan Boivin, unassisted scored another goal for Owen Sound.  Owen Sound then added the final touches as Jerrid Fossold netted his 3rd goal of the game.

Hip Hip Hooray!  Great work earning a Hat Trick Jerrid.

Owen Sound's netminder Brody Caskenette was exceptional holding off the opposition throughout with an instrumental glove save which became a turning point in the third, and O/S responded immediately to go up by 2 goals.

Owen Sound will meet Meaford next for the start of the Georgian Bay Playdowns on Tuesday Feb. 08.  Good luck, and keep the Momentum going boys.
