Squeaker vs C.W for Kunkel Major Bantams
Owen Sound JR Attack Major Bantams put their undefeated streak on the line in Fergus Wednesday night

The Jr. Attack couldn't capitalize on several chances in the first period, nor could the Fusion find the back of the net resulting in a 0-0 deadlock after the first period.

Both teams had their chances in the second, and both teams had some power play time.
Centre Wellington would strike first with a bang bang play out of the corner taking a 1-0 lead with 4:53 remaining in the middle period.

Owen Sound started the third with 1:23 remaining on a power play, but were unable to find the back of the net.
Another power play opportunity materialized late in the third when Nolan Andrews wasted little time collecting the puck off the first face off and scored short side unassisted to tie the game.

Both teams had scoring opportunities down the stretch, but neither could light the lamp.
A tough call late in the game put the Jr. Attack shorthanded with 1:46 remaining on the clock.
Not long after that, C.W. Fusion took a crosschecking penalty to make it 4 on 4 hockey with just under a minute remaining.

With fans on the edge of their seat, Jacob Duncan broke up the right wing, gained the offensive zone, cut to the middle, and burried the eventual game winner roof daddy with only 0:39 seconds to tick away.

The final buzzer sounded, and the Owen Sound Kunkel Bus Lines Major Bantams remain undefeated at 12-0. That perfect record goes on the line Friday night at the Rec Center when the puck drops at 7:30 pm vs the New Hamburg Huskies.

Followed by a tilt in Guelph at 2:30 pm on Sunday.

GO ATTACK GO !!!
