Peewee Majors Win Silver in Ottawa
Wow what an experience!
The Jr Attack Peewee Major Team won silver at the Bell Capital Cup Tournament in Ottawa to close out the year. The team went 5-1-1, suffering their only loss in the gold medal game against the undefeated Leitrim Hawks. Highlights of the tournament include playing against teams from the greater Ottawa area, New York State, and a team from Helsinki, Finland in the quarter-finals. The finals were played at the Canadian Tire Centre where the team had taken in a game between the Sens and Devils a few nights prior as part of the experience. They were excited to find the Devil's lineup still printed in the change room and hoped using the same room would bring them similar luck. It was such an amazing experience for the team to play at The CTC on NHL ice. The team would like to thank friends and family who cheered from afar- we felt the love!
