The Owen Sound Garb & Gear PeeWee Minor Jr. Attack were in action at home Friday and Saturday.
Friday evening the PeeWee Minor Jr. Attack hosted the Guelph Gryphons at the Rec Centre in a 4 - 2 win. Aiden Stanley opened up the scoring late in the first period, with Morgan Armstrong and Nolan Edmonstone. Bennett Carr tucked away goal number 2 for the PeeWee Minor Jr. Attack with Armstrong assisting. Edmonstone scored with 5 minutes left of period 2 with Armstrong picking up his third assist. Guelph would score twice in period 3 to close the gap to 3 - 2. Nate Garrett would make it 4 - 2 assisted by Stanley, with only minutes left of the game.
Saturday the PeeWee Minor Jr. Attack hosted the Brampton 45's in a 6 - 1 win. Garrett would score late in the first period assisted by Ethan Williams and Stanley. Garrett scored his second of the game 4 minutes into the second period with Stanley assisting. Brampton scored their only goal half way through period 2. Stanley scored with just a over a minute left of the period with Edmonstone assisting. Hunter Stewart would score on a break away in period 3 with the assist from Garrett and goal tender Brody McCaig. Garrett received a hat trick with the help from Lucas Mcmanaman and Jacob Gole. Seth Stewart finished the scoring with only seconds left in the game with H. Stewart assisting.
Next home game is Friday December 1 at 7:30 pm at the Rec. Centre.
