REP - PeeWee Maj - Harold Sutherland Jr Attack Peewee's Advance to the Semi's in OMHA Playoff Action!
Submitted By Jeremy Stewart on Saturday, February 23, 2019
The Jr Attack Peewees met the Dundas Blues for the quarter final action!A 5 game series in a race to 6 points included two tie games, one very close game, and a blow out.

The first game of the series was a Friday night home game, both teams proved that they wanted to take this series. The game was back and forth with both teams trying to get an edge over the other. The result was a tie, 3-3, at the end of regulation with the two teams headed to over time. After a nail biting 10 minute OT the game ended a draw with both teams earning 1 point towards the 6 needed.
Game 2 on Saturday the Jr Attack travelled to Dundas where they played a similar game. Lots of back and forth action and a very close game, but a better result for Owen Sound as they took the game 3-2 at the end of regulation earning 2 more points.
Game 3 was back in Owen Sound at the Harry Lumley Bayshore. The Harold Sutherland Jr Attack took to the ice with confidence being up 2 points on Dundas. They took control of the game and never looked back winning 5-1 over Dundas putting them 1 point away from taking the series.
Game 5 was on Saturday, the Peewee’s only needing 1 point to advance to the Semi's. Everyone involved in the sport knows how hard that 1 point can be to get sometimes. Well Dundas made the Jr Attack earn that point. Similar to game one it was a back and forth game ending in a 2-2 tie at the end of regulation, putting the game into sudden death over time. The Jr Attack stayed strong and the game resulted in a tie at the end of overtime! The Peewee’s earned the point needed to move on to the semi final OMHA playoff round where they will meet the St Thomas Stars!
Congratulations to our fellow Jr Attackers, the Bantams and Atoms, who have also earned spots in the OMHA semi final rounds! Go Attack Go!
