Tournament Recap
our first game was at 11:15 am. We lost to Caledonia 7-1. We had two players ejected for boarding and Caledonia had one player ejected for the same reason. We also lost a player for 8 regular season games as well as the remainder of the tournament. Owen Sound goal scored by Matt Thompson, assists from by Scott Long and A J Kosempel
Our second game was Friday Nov. 11 at 8:15. We lost our first 4-o to Woolwich. we had three players sitting out on a game misconduct
We won our third game which put us into the semifinals on Sunday. 3-2 win
We lost our semifinal game. this game our team played quite well, showing signs of the players coming together as a team 3-1 loss
About This Tournament
First tournament that our team entered. It was a learning experience for our team. Most players have never played rep hockey before so getting use to a hitting and faster paced game has been an early in season learning experience for most players. The last two games we played more as a team once the experience of the first two games had settled in.
