The Owen Sound Firefighters Minor Bantam Junior Attack went 1-1-1 in the Georgetown Best of the Best tournament over the weekend.

Owen Sound dropped the opening game 2-0 to Belleville on Saturday.

On Sunday, Owen Sound defeated host Georgetown 4-3 on goals by Brady Stewart (2), Nick Kazarian and Jon Frook. Ethan Woods had the win in goal.

Also on Sunday, Owen Sound tied Kitchener 1-1 on a goal by Jon Frook to finish third in their pool. Kallen Macumber had a strong game in net to earn the tie. 

Kitchener went on to defeat Belleville to win the tournament.
