McAsh and Thomson Each Net One
The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack Minor Atom's continued their winning streak when they hosted The Coldwater Wildcats in Georgian Bay Playoffs on Sunday morning at the Bayshore.
Andrew Suchomel scored his first of the game assisted by Mitch Kaufman and Nick Mandeno early in the first period.
Mitch Kaufman found the net assisted by Suchomel and Mandeno putting the Attack up 2-0.
Suchomel scored early in the second assisted this time by Joseph Pringle and Kaufman.
Nick McAsh stepped in from the point and scored unassisted at the 10 minute mark of the second period.
With just under two minutes remaining in the second period Travis Morrison netted one assisted by Brayden Krueger and Kaleb Martin.
Reid Thomson carried the puck from to end to end where he whistled a shot past the Wildcats netminder making the score 6-0 Attack.
5 minutes into the third, Kaufman scored his second of the game when he wired a shot from the top of the circle assisted by Suchomel who had just won the face-off.
Suchomel scored his third goal of the game assisted by Kaufman and Mandeno.
With less than 20 seconds left the Wildcats scored their only marker of the game.
Mason Adams played well in net for the win.
