Moore's Hard Work Pays Off for Major Novice

The Major Novice team played in Creemore on Friday Dec 9th coming away with a 6-1 victory.
Kieran Moore's hard work rubbed off on the rest of our team as we out worked Creemore for most of the game. Our Defence consisting of Patrick Brown, Jesse Alguire, Josh Beattie, Owen Prior and Elliot Thomson played a great game pinching when they thought they could and getting back when they were beat.
Gavin Downs started off our scoring in the first unassisted. Kieran Moore added one in the first as well assisted by Caleb Morrison. We netted two more goals in the second period. One from Caleb Morrison assisted by Kieran and another goal from Spencer Maddock as he followed Gavin Downs to the net picking up the rebound. Kieran Moore added two more goals in the third both unassisted.
The team has been improving a lot these last few games pressuring the puck better and winning more battles at both blue lines. We are looking forward to a tough game against an undefeated Midland team who we haven't seen since early in the season.
