Downs Leads the Major Novice To Victory

Gavin Downs scored 5 goals in a 10-4 victory against Elmvale on saturday.

The team played another strong game doing a great job of the first guy pressuring the puck.  We jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period with 2 goals from Gavin Downs and 1 from Kieran Moore.
Liam Barrett and Kieran Moore added singles in the second period to take a 5-1 lead into the third.
The boys backed off a little in the third allowing Elmvale to score 3 goals.  We answered back with 5 of our own with Gavin Downs scoring 3, Spencer Maddock and Drayton Howell each adding singles.  
Nice to see the team working better as a team passing the puck and skating hard without the puck.
