We started our last 3 games on thursday night in Colingwood. The team played well moving the puck around much better. A couple of break downs in our own end allowed Collingwood to net 4 goals. Spencer Maddock led the way for us with a hat trick on the way to an 8-4 victory. Gavin Downs followed up with 2 goals while Kieran Moore, Caleb Morrison and Drayton Howell rounded out the scoring. Aidan Yarde added 3 assists working hard to create some great chances.
Our second game was at home vs Elmvale. Ryan Campbell led the way with his fourth shut out of the year. Four different players scored to help the team to a 4-0 victory. Kieran Moore started the scoring with Spencer Maddock, Gavin Downs and Liam Barrett also adding singles. Defence did a great job of holding the line.
Our third game took us to Oro for the first time this year. Ryan Campbell had a strong game in net and the team worked hard in front of him. We had a 3-2 lead late in the game but Oro pulled their goalie and were able to tie the score with about 25 sec left in the game. Gavin Downs had a hat trick to take care of the scoring for us. A number of other players had many good scoring chances.
The team has really improved and we are starting to settle into positions.
