Novice A must win Tiebreaker to Advance!
Submitted By Rick Papke on Wednesday, February 02, 2011
The Canadian Tire Novice team will travel to Oakville on Sunday to play in their biggest game of the year.  The team will play a tie-breaking match against Oakville (they split their round robin 4-2L and 2-1W) to see which team advances to the second round of the OMHA's

In order to get to this point, the Novice's defeated Brampton 4-0 at home Friday night.

Saturday the team travelled to Oakville on the Attack bus and came away with a 2-1 win in a very close game.

On Sunday the Novice's needed to defeat or tie Centre of Wellington in order to guarantee advancement.  After regulation, the game was tied at 0-0!  Five minutes into overtime, the only goal of the game was scored by Centre of Wellington.

Great job so far and good luck this weekend!
