Atom Minor - Minor Atom's Defeated by Centre Wellington

The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack travelled to Elora where they faced Centre Wellington on Saturday in OMHA play downs. The Attack were defeated 4-1.

Sam Shakes scored the only goal for the Attack assisted by Kaleb Martin and Nick Mandeno early in the first period.

Centre Wellington tied the game in the final seconds of the first period.

Kaelem Ryan made some great saves to keep Owen Sound in the game.

The hosts scored 3 more unanswered goals.

The Attack will face Brampton on Sunday in OMHA Play downs.

Jaden Goldie netted the lone goal assisted by Reid Thomson in a 2-1 loss.

We now play Honeywood in Owen Sound this coming Tuesday 8:30pm at the Colisium. The game on Feb 24th is canceled and changed to this Tuesday Feb 7th.

For being on the ice for the 8th straight night, the team was able to put together the effort to come out with a Win.

Bantam AE - Game results from Honeywood Jan 31

Tight game right form the start with Honeywood taking the lead. At the end of the first it was 3-1 for Honeywood. Period 2 ended 4-3 for Honeywood and period three ended with the tie. We won the 2nd and 3rd periods but could not come back enough form the first to win the game.. Tied 5-5 after three period.
Considering this is our seven night in a row on the ice our guys still had the energy to come back from the 3-1 deficit in the first period. Tonight will be night 8 with a game against Dundalk. Game time 8:15 at the Bayshore.
Stats, Scott Long 2 goals and one assist. Devin Caron 2 goals, Brad Bishop one goal, single assists from Matt Thompson and Nick Greavette.

Atom Select - Bradford Invitational Tournament

Weather was not on our side, and it was apparent this was our very first tournament.

Each game got progressively better, and we were scoring in the final game, and had a LEAD.

We are now 3-0 in our Georgian Bay round robin play. We beat Collingwood for a second time in two days, winning 3-1.

Another win for our team beating Collingwood 2-1. Close game right through the game. We went ahead in the third period with just under 7 minutes remaining. We were able to stop Collingwood in their attempt to tie the game.
Goals from Logan Armstrong unassitted and Scott Long assisted by Matt Thompson and Devin Caron. On to Collingwood Tomorrow for the second game in our back to back with Collingwood.

PeeWee Major - Major PeeWees Look Fwd to Tri County Playoffs

While the boys cannot be faulted for effort, the goalies cannot be faulted for GA, and the Coaches have done their best, generating offence has been a problem for this team all season. Arm chair coaches will all agree 5 goals in 6 games is just not going to cut it in the OMHA playoffs. Owen Sound Harold Sutherland Major PeeWees went 1 and 5 in OHMA playoffs over the past 3 weeks and were, as most teams end up, bounced from further OMHA play.

Alyssa Wayland almost had a break-away and that would have been sweet because this is by far the best game she ever played. It was Ronan Helder’s turn to play goalie and...what a job he did..he stopped several break-aways, made several key saves and even stopped a couple of wrap arounds.

The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack Minor Atom's travelled to Georgetown on Saturday night for OMHA play downs. The Attack had no problems finding the net in this game.

Andrew Suchomel scored his first of the game assisted by Nick Mandeno and Mitch Kaufman to make the score 1-0 at the end of the first period. At the mid-way mark of the second period Kaleb Martin fed the puck to Travis Morrison making the score 2-0 for the Attack.

Owen Sound Tyke- Pittsburgh lost 3-2 against Osprey 1 in Osprey. Osprey had the lead all game but we answered back with each goal. We ran out of time. Pulling the goalie with a minute left in play, we had many shots but just couldn’t connect with the net. Graedon Burr with one goal, assisted by Bryce Martin. Bryce Martin with one goal assisted by Curt Duggan and Graedon Burr.

Boston was leading for half the game against Flesherton 2. Great goals by Markus assisted by Tycelyn from defense. Final score 7-2 Boston played very well, but just ran out of steam at the half way mark.
