January 20th, 21st & 22nd Results
The Owen Sound Garb & Gear Minor Pee-Wee team were very busy this past weekend playing 3 OMHA Preliminary Round games in 3 days.


Friday January 20th, 2017

The Owen Sound Garb & Gear Minor Pee-Wee team headed down highway 6 for a late afternoon game vs the Centre Wellington Fusion.   A very face paced game with end to end action saw the Fusion winning by 4-1. 

  • Noah Lundgren was between the pipes and made many key saves with Bryce Martin adding the Owen Sound marker with a pass from Markus Ptok & Ronan Helder

 

 

Saturday January 21st, 2017

The Guelph Gryphons were in town to face off with the Owen Sound Garb & Gear minor Pee-Wees on Saturday afternoon.   Saturdays game was a very close game with many chances for both teams.   Kai Bryia was in net for the JR Attack and made many key saves to slow down the offence of the Gryphons.   Guelph would end up scoring in Over Time to come away with a 3-2 win.

 

First Period

  • Ronan Helder opened the scoring with a pass from Bryce Martin  

 

Second Period

  • Markus Ptok added the 2nd marker with a pass from Bryce Martin and Connor Waite

 

 

 

Sunday January 22nd, 2017

The Owen Sound Garb & Gear Jr Attack boarded there bus Sunday and headed down highway 6 to face off with the Dundas Blues.  Another very close game had the blues skate away with a 3-2 victory.  Noah Lundgren and Kai Bryia  was extremely busy between the pipes for the JR Attack.

 

First Period

  • Bryce Martin opened the scoring for the JR Attack with a pass from Markus Ptok

 

Second Period

  • Ronan Helder added the 2nd goal with a pass from Markus Ptok & Bryce Martin

 

The Owen Sound Garb & Gear JR Attack will conclude there OMHA Preliminary round on Friday January 27th at the Bayshore when then host the Centre Wellington Fusion.   Puck drops @ 7:00pm. 

 

Then your Owen Sound Garb & Gear JR Attack will enter into the Tri County Playoffs on February 5th when they travel to Halton Hills Red to begin there league playoffs.
