Major Bantams Serve it up for Cancer Society
The Jr. Attack Major Bantams demonstrated that with a little volunteer team effort, a significant impact can be made for local charity.   The team successfully raised $1070 in a few short hours by hustling tables at Boston Pizza.

As part of their dedication to support local communities, Boston Pizza provides opportunities for groups to work alongside their staff, in return the restaurant donates a percentage of the nights take.  The team chose the Canadian Cancer Society (Grey Bruce Branch) as the recipient of their hard work.  The goal was to help off set some of the travel expenses for kids with Cancer who have to travel to London for treatment. Team Captain Graham Gateman says "There is no 'I' in 'Team' especially when it comes to fighting Cancer, and even more so when it comes to fighting Cancer as a kid.  Coming together as our team does, was the least we could do to help raise some money for such an important cause."
