Great Start to the New Year
Great start to the new year as Owen Sound Jr Attack down the Penetang Flames 8-0 at home at the Bayshore Saturday afternoon.

A solid showing by Ronan Helder who scored four goals, with all four assists coming from #12 Leighton Hurst, kept Owen Sound's momentum going strong for all three periods. Leighton Hurst added two goals of his own in the second and again in the third, with Ronan returning the favour getting both assists. Hunter Stewart, assisted by Morgan Armstrong, and Bennett Carr, assisted by Lucas McManaman, added a goal each to get the Attack to the 8-0 final.

An outstanding performance by the Flames goalie #30 Camden McColl, kept the score to 8 by stopping 48 of Owen Sounds 56 shots, While Alyssa Barnard and Michael Smith both add another shutout to their page by keeping the Flames to 0 with a great performance from each of the Owen Sound Keepers.
