Busy Weekend for Owen Sound Jr Attack
A busy weekend for the Owen Sound Jr Attack coming up with a 4-4 draw in Stayner against the Cyclones on Saturday Morning, Nolan Edmonstone put the first in the net for the Attack and a solid effort by #12 Leighton Hurst with him coming up with a pair. William McMillian getting his first of the year early in the 3rd period.

It was a different game altogether on Sunday Evening with Owen Sound dominating most of the game keeping the visiting Cyclones on their heels. The Jr. Attack was first on the board with Bennett Carr putting one across the line with a help from Nolan Edmonstone getting the assist for a short lived 1-0 lead,  the visiting Cyclones answered 3 minutes later with the last goal they would get before the third period.  

The second period at the Bayshore was all Attack with 2 unanswered goals by Nolan Edmonstone and Percy Roney with assists going to Leighton Hurst and and Brian Corbett, taking the home team into the third period with 3-1 lead.  

A very exciting final 15 minutes of fast paced, end to end hockey with Hunter Stewart, Leighton Hurst and Morgan Armstrong all getting hard fought goals for the Attack, with 2 assists going to Nolan Edmonstone and one to Bennett Carr. Stayner was held to 2 goals in the third allowing Owen Sound to put another one in the win column with a final score of 6-3 for the Owen Sound Jr Attack.

Crescent Athletic Club
The Crescent Athletic Club of Owen Sound, Ontario was envisioned and founded in 1920 by like-minded sportsmen as a viable way to bind interests, commitments and the continuance of minor sports teams in the community. Historically a not-for-profit men's organization with the aim to support local athletic teams. Today the club functions in much the same way it was originally fashioned.
