2011-12 Atom Minor - Mandeno Opens The Scoring
The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack Minor Atom's traveled to Angus on Saturday where they faced Essa in Georgian Bay Playoffs.
Nick Mandeno opened the scoring for the Attack assisted by Mitch Kaufman late in the first period.
Sam Shakes took a pass from Joel Coghlin and made the score 2-0 Owen Sound.
Andrew Suchomel scored his first of the game unassisted with just over 2 minutes remaining in the second period.
Essa replied with their first marker of the game with seconds remaining in the second period.
Mitch Kaufman and Nick Mandeno assisted Suchomel with his second of the game early in the third.
Jaden Goldie also scored unassisted at the mid-way mark of the third period.
Essa replied for the second and final time of the game just minutes later.
Mitch Kaufman and Joel Coghlin added singles assisted by Suchomel and Kaleb Martin.
Kaelem Ryan was in net for the win.
