2011-12 Atom Minor - Morrison Scores Twice
The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack Minor Atom's travelled to Brampton for OMHA Play downs on Sunday, where they defeated Bampton 4-1.
The first period remained scoreless.
Brampton scored early in the second period. Owen Sound's Jaden Goldie replied with a goal two minutes later assisted by Joel Gallagher and Brayden Krueger. With a minute remaining in the second period Nick Mandeno scored the go ahead goal with a pass from Mitch Kaufman and Andrew Suchomel.
Travis Morrison scored his first of the game late in the third period assisted by Sam Shakes. A minute later Morrison found the net again assisted by Shakes and Joel Coghlin.
The Attack have now been eliminated in the OMHA Play downs with a 4-4 record.
The Minor Atom's will continue in Georgian Bay Play offs on Wednesday when they host Georgian Shores at the Bayshore.
